Oak Court House

Oaks Court House was established to provide specific care for the elderly and elderly mentally ill people who are no longer able to live in the community. They hope to achieve this by basing their care on a humanistic approach.

All residents have access to a number of medical practitioners such as a GP, dentist and optician. Their culinary services are provided to maintain a healthy balanced diet. Each room contains en-suite facilities and nurse call. There are a number of lounges and TV facilities, as well as an on-site hairdresser.

Oaks Court House provides care for 41 residents 24 hours a day by experienced staff. All rooms are en-suite. Long term and respite care is offered with pre-admission assessment highlighting specific or special needs followed by a 28 day review to highlight any alteration of care required. Individual reviewable planned key worker programmes of care are agreed with residents and their relatives/friends to maximise each residents’ own potential.

  • Our care homes offer a care setting by where people who are elderly and frail can be encouraged and supported to maintain independence, choice and individuality.

  • We look to promote equal opportunity within residents, relatives/friends and staff irrespective of race, colour, gender, sexuality, ability and cultural or religious beliefs.

  • Support for relatives/friends and carers is believed to be as important as that for the resident and all staff in our care homes share this belief.
  • All of our staff believe that a holistic approach to resident care is of the utmost priority.
